Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Service Engineer to service commercial sites across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will maintain security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire alarm panels, on a rota and on-call basis.

The role offers a basic salary up to £42,000, overtime with enhanced rates, a company van and fuel card, plus pension and 22 days’ leave. On-going training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with security systems, including fire alarms is beneficial.
• Knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire alarm panels is required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on security systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Build strong relationships with customers through a professional and reliable service.

Multiskilled Service Engineer

Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle

A well-established provider of fire and security solutions is looking to recruit a Multiskilled Service Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial customers throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong security background who is also comfortable working on fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on security systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Build strong relationships with customers through a professional and reliable service.
• Participate in an on-call rota.

Ideal Candidate

You'll have experience working with a range of security systems, with knowledge of fire alarms being beneficial.

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• Galaxy
• Paxton

• Kentec
• Morley

Knowledge of fire extinguisher servicing is desirable but not essential.
