An established national Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Facilities Services provider

Job Details

To carry out Fire, Security, CCTV Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works with additional capability to assist with M&E repairs and support with minor Fire, Security and CCTV projects to a high standard in accordance with the SFG20 or manufacturers' recommendations.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform PPM in adherence to set NSI & BAFE standards, complying with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company safety procedures and contract specifications.
• Respond to Reactive Works, including Mechanical & Electrical issues and minor fabric repairs.
• Adhere to the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly according to company policy and procedures.
• Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
• Conduct logbook audits.
• Maintain good customer interface skills.

Skills / Knowledge

• Demonstrate competence in your primary trade with valid certification.
• Deliver service excellence.
• Have a reasonable understanding and proactive approach to other trade skills, including:

Electrical: Fault finding, 18th Edition, C&G 2330 levels 2 & 3, NVQ levels 2 & 3, PAT testing, electrical servicing, basic controls.

Hold Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Security maintenance and testing certifications.

Fabric: Basic carpentry (door hanging, shelf erecting), internal furniture, fittings, and décor repairs; external fixtures and fittings repairs; emergency leak repairs; gutter cleaning.

Miscellaneous: Meter reading, emergency light testing, water temperature recording, alarm testing.
