Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager to oversee fire safety and building improvement works in Dudley and the West Midlands. This hands-on role requires coordinating directly employed operatives and subcontractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to high quality standards.

You will monitor workmanship, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain comprehensive site records.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising site teams on construction or maintenance projects.
• Strong health and safety awareness and quality control.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.
• Coordinate directly employed operatives and subcontractors across projects.
• Monitor workmanship to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and health and safety checks.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
• Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identify and resolve site issues and monitor risks or delays.
