Job summary

Hafod in Wales is seeking a Fire Safety Officer to lead compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, conducting risk assessments to safeguard our premises.

You will be the subject matter expert in fire safety, delivering the organisation's fire safety framework and influencing colleagues, customers and the community on best practices for keeping homes safe.

The role requires travelling across sites; you may have access to a company vehicle and must hold a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and related British Standards.
• Proven experience conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to guide and influence stakeholders.
• Empathetic, resilient and people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire safety compliance across the organisation per the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments and surveys to ensure premises are safe and compliant.
• Deliver and oversee the organisation's fire safety framework.
• Act as subject matter expert on fire safety, influencing colleagues, customers and the community on best practices for keeping homes safe.
• Ensure fire safety policies across properties meet statutory obligations.
