Job summary

WSP is hiring a fire engineer to work on a variety of projects from universities to high-rise towers across the UK, contributing to fire safety without compromising design. You’ll analyse design information, liaise with other disciplines, and present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.

We offer a bespoke development programme, support towards chartered status, flexible hybrid working, and a collaborative, social team.

Qualifications

• A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in fire engineering consulting.
• Willingness to work from UK offices.

Responsibilities

• Review design information and fire safety standards.
• Liaise with Facades, Acoustics and Structures teams.
• Present designs to local authorities and Fire Service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and project learning.
