EDF Energy seeks a Fire Safety Engineer to help prepare Hinkley Point C for safe operations. You will develop fire safety governance, lead risk assessments, and shape fire protection strategies in a high-hazard, nuclear environment. This onsite role requires collaboration with regulators and stakeholders to ensure readiness and compliance.

Formación

• Fire safety design experience in a complex industrial or nuclear environment.
• Experience leading Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Hazard Analyses.
• Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation (RRO and related regs).
• Ability to support WANO readiness and operational readiness activities.
• Experience developing fire safety governance and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop fire safety governance arrangements and operational readiness strategies for the future station.
• Lead Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Hazard Analyses with input from key project stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of fire prevention strategies and fire protection arrangements.
• Provide specialist advice on fire legislation, regulatory compliance, and fire protection systems.
• Contribute to emergency preparedness and WANO performance readiness activities.
