Job summary

Sizewell C Limited seeks an Apprentice Fire Safety Advisor to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) on the Sizewell C site. You will learn from experienced fire safety professionals while supporting safety, emergency planning, and compliance across the construction site.

You will gain a formal apprenticeship qualification, mentorship, and exposure to one of the UK’s largest construction projects, with opportunities for future progression in fire safety and emergency planning.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fire safety inspections, assessments, and assurance activities.
• Support fire prevention initiatives across construction and site operations.
• Help maintain fire safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Contribute to emergency planning, drills, and awareness campaigns.
• Assist with fire safety reporting and performance monitoring.
• Develop practical knowledge of construction, nuclear, and workplace fire safety.
• Support the Fire & Emergency Planning Team with administration and project activities.
