Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing seeks a Contracts Manager within the Fire Safety Team to lead delivery of Fire Safety Regulations and the Block Inspection Program across MTVH’s portfolio.

You will manage external contractors, monitor budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, drive value for money, and work with consultants to deliver inspections and related works. The role also requires leading a small team and achieving KPIs, with strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire safety or compliance projects.
• Ability to run complex programmes and manage significant budgets.
• Experience with contract administration and procurement processes.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Fire Safety inspections and block inspection regimes.
• Monitor budgets and ensure value for money throughout contracts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and MTVH teams to deliver programmes.
• Chair contract management meetings and manage the contract administration function.
• Analyse data and prepare reports and KPIs to track progress.
