Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association Limited (NCHA) is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join the Fire Safety Team within Property Services in Nottingham. This fixed-term 12-month role focuses on planning and scheduling compliance works, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate records to ensure safe and compliant homes and buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an administrative, scheduling or planning environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Experience coordinating work and communicating with customers, contractors or service providers.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating fire safety inspections, servicing and repair works.
• Raising and managing work orders through various IT systems.
• Liaising with contractors, customers and internal teams to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Providing updates on appointments, programmed works and service delivery.
• Maintaining accurate compliance records and databases.
• Supporting managers with reporting and performance monitoring.
• Identifying potential compliance risks and escalating issues where required.
• Delivering outstanding customer service while managing competing priorities.
