Job summary

Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a Fire Safety Adviser for a three-day-per-week, three-month temporary contract on a campus in Brighton. The successful candidate will deliver Fire Risk Assessments, PEEPs, and fire safety inspections across a varied property portfolio, providing compliance guidance and emergency planning support.

Job Overview

A Fire Safety Adviser is required for a 3-month temporary contract, working three days per week on campus in Brighton. The role will suit a fire safety professional with experience delivering Fire Risk Assessments, PEEPs, inspections and audits across complex or higher-risk premises. You will support an established fire safety team, providing operational advice, compliance monitoring and emergency planning across a varied property portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Undertake and manage Fire Risk Assessments
  • Prepare and review Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans
  • Complete fire safety inspections and audits
  • Provide professional advice to internal stakeholders
  • Support incident reporting and corrective actions

You will also contribute to fire safety policies, procedures, compliance monitoring and responses to relevant legislative changes. The role involves communicating findings clearly to senior managers and supporting coordinated fire safety arrangements across multiple departments.
