Job summary

Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a Fire Safety Adviser for a three-day-per-week, three-month temporary contract on a campus in Brighton. The successful candidate will deliver Fire Risk Assessments, PEEPs, and fire safety inspections across a varied property portfolio, providing compliance guidance and emergency planning support.

Applicants should have relevant fire safety qualifications and strong knowledge of UK legislation, with proven experience in complex or higher-risk buildings.

Qualifications

• Relevant fire safety qualifications or professional membership.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
• Experience completing Fire Risk Assessments.
• Practical PEEP and emergency planning experience.
• Experience delivering inspections and audits.
• Experience working in complex organisations or higher-risk buildings with ability to interpret legislation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and manage Fire Risk Assessments.
• Prepare and review Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans.
• Complete fire safety inspections and audits.
• Provide professional advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support incident reporting and corrective actions.
