Keystone Fire Safety are a conscientious fire safety company set up and run by former/active serving Firefighters. We are a welcoming and growing fire safety company looking for competent and experienced Fire risk assessors who will be required to perform a range of surveys in relation to all aspects of fire safety and compliance. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in performing Type 2 & Type 4 Compartmentation surveys.

Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Fire Risk Assessor, where works will commence all over the UK. The Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for:

• Intrusive & non-intrusive full and sample Type 2 & 4 Compartmentation surveys.
• Roof void and loft space compartmentation surveys in line with NFCC recommendations.

Experience Required:

• Preferred 2 years worth of experience performing type 2 & 4 Compartmentation surveys, Passive Fire Protection inspections, Fire Door surveys & Fire Risk Assessments.
• Knowledge of fire stopping practices, materials and procedures.
• Experience with dealing with new development schemes and site visits.
• Experience with dealing with housing associations, vulnerable residents and service users.
• Keen and enthusiastic self-development attitude.
• Computer literate in excel and word.

Qualifications:

• IFE Level 2 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection by ASFP, OR,
• IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection by ASFP, OR,
• Fire stopping inspection diploma by FPA, OR
• Equivalent certified qualification by a 3rd party accredited course provider for Passive Fire Protection assessments and inspections.
• BM Trada or equivalent fire door training.
• Clear and clean CRB history.

Working Requirements:

We are seeking a motivated individual to carry out assessments, inspections, and surveys across the UK. Applicants must be equipped to work remotely, with access to a laptop or computer, reliable Wi-Fi, a dependable phone line, and a printer.

The role requires the use of various tools and surveying equipment, including (but not limited to) measuring devices such as laser distance finders, drills, hand tools, ladders, etc.
