Job Description
The candidate for the role of Validator for Fire Risk Assessors should meet the following qualifications and competencies as specified in nationally recognised Competency Criteria for Fire Risk Assessors (Appendix A-I of the Competency Criteria for Fire Risk Assessors, Fire Sector Federation):
- Strong knowledge of Approved Document B, latest regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for fire risk assessments and reporting.

Skills and Qualifications
- Institute of Fire Prevention Officer (IFPO)
- Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
- Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
Deep understanding of the Fire Risk Assessment process, relevant fire safety regulations, and proven experience in conducting assessments. Excellent communication, attention to detail, analytical skills, independence, teamwork, and ethical conduct are essential.
