Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor to conduct comprehensive life safety Fire Risk Assessments across commercial, NHS, HE and public sector estates in the UK, in alignment with the Fire Safety Order 2005. You will identify hazards and prepare proportionate action plans.

You will capture data with mobile tablet software, advise duty holders on policies and evacuation, and focus on risk assessment and compliance while avoiding installation work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Fire Risk Assessment experience.
• Recognised qualifications/registrations preferred (IFSM Tier 2/3, Level 4 FRA Diploma, IFE registration, or NEBOSH Fire).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive life safety Fire Risk Assessments across commercial, healthcare (NHS), higher education, and public sector estates in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
• Systematically identify fire hazards, evaluate passive and active fire precautions, and formulate clear, proportionate action plans for Responsible Persons
• Capture site inspection data, photos, and digital floorplan markups using mobile tablet software
• Advise duty holders on fire safety policies, evacuation arrangements, and risk reduction measures
• Maintain a 100% focus on technical risk assessment, auditing, and compliance advisory (strictly no installation or trade fitting work)

Key Responsibilities
