Randstad is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join a premier fire safety consultancy in the UK. You will deliver comprehensive FRA across diverse estates, using tablet software to collect data and draft reports on site.

Ideal candidates hold 2+ years FRA experience and relevant registrations; a UK driving licence is essential. This role focuses on risk assessment and compliance advisory rather than installation work, with opportunities across university estates and NHS facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Fire Risk Assessment experience.
• Recognised qualifications/registrations preferred (IFSM Tier 2/3, Level 4 FRA Diploma, IFE registration, or NEBOSH Fire).
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive life safety Fire Risk Assessments across commercial, NHS, higher education and public sector estates.
• Identify fire hazards and evaluate passive/active fire precautions; formulate action plans for Responsible Persons.
• Capture site data, photos, and floorplan markups using mobile tablet software.
• Advise duty holders on fire safety policies, evacuation arrangements and risk reduction measures.
• Maintain focus on technical risk assessment, auditing, and compliance advisory; no installation work.

Randstad is recruiting a Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of a premier, BAFE SP205-accredited fire safety consultancy. Partnered with an AI-native compliance platform, the business equips field teams with tablet software that automates back-office report drafting, floorplan pin-drops, and site data compiling in real time-reducing administrative reporting load by 50% and eliminating post-site evening paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive life safety Fire Risk Assessments across commercial, healthcare (NHS), higher education, and public sector estates in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
• Systematically identify fire hazards, evaluate passive and active fire precautions, and formulate clear, proportionate action plans for Responsible Persons
• Capture site inspection data, photos, and digital floorplan markups using mobile tablet software
• Advise duty holders on fire safety policies, evacuation arrangements, and risk reduction measures
• Maintain a 100% focus on technical risk assessment, auditing, and compliance advisory (strictly no installation or trade fitting work)
