Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to deliver Type 1–3 FRAs across a varied portfolio in the UK, with a focus on safety, compliance and high-quality reporting.

You will produce detailed FRA reports, offer remedial guidance, liaise with clients and housing providers, and manage travel across the Midlands region. A recognised FRA qualification and full UK driving licence are desirable. A company car or car allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Type 1–3 FRAs in residential or commercial environments
• Ability to produce clear, compliant FRA reports with action plans
• Strong knowledge of safety and building regulations

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1-3 FRA across varied properties
• Produce detailed FRA reports with prioritised actions
• Advise on remedial works and safety improvements
• Liaise with clients and housing providers to ensure compliance
• Manage own diary and travel across Midlands region
• Support re-inspections and ongoing compliance strategies

Job description

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked in fire as anAssessor, Safety Consultant, Safety Surveyor, FRA Consultant, or in similar roles within the protection and building safety industry.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be:

• ConductingType 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Risk Assessmentsacross a varied property portfolio such as domestic, commercial and care homes
• Producing clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports with prioritised action plans
• Advising clients on remedial works and safety improvements
• Liaising with clients, housing providers, and facilities teams to ensure legislative compliance
• Managing your own diary and travel across the Midlands region
• Supporting re-inspections, follow-up visits, and ongoing compliance strategies

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Proven experience deliveringType 1–3 FRAsin residential and/or commercial environments
• RecognisedFRA qualifications, such as: NEBOSH Fire Safety / Risk Management and Level 3/4 Certificate in FRA
• Experience writing professional technical reports
• Full UK driving licence
