Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to deliver Type 1–3 FRA assessments across diverse properties, including residential and commercial sites. You will produce detailed reports with clear action plans and advise on remedial works to ensure safety compliance.

The role involves travel and diary management across the Midlands region with hybrid working options. A NEBOSH FRA qualification and a Level 3/4 FRA certificate are desirable, plus a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven FRA experience delivering Type 1-3 FRAs in residential and/or commercial environments.
• Experience writing professional technical reports.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1, 2 and 3 Risk Assessments across varied properties (domestic, commercial, care homes).
• Produce clear, compliant FRA reports with prioritised action plans.
• Advise clients on remedial works and safety improvements.
• Liaise with clients, housing providers and facilities teams to ensure legislative compliance.
• Manage your diary and travel across the Midlands region.
• Support re-inspections and ongoing compliance strategies.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you'll be delivering high-quality, compliant assessments across the Hampshire area.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be:

• Conducting Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Risk Assessments across a varied property portfolio such as domestic, commercial and care homes
• Producing clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports with prioritised action plans
• Advising clients on remedial works and safety improvements
• Liaising with clients, housing providers, and facilities teams to ensure legislative compliance
• Managing your own diary and travel across the Midlands region
• Supporting re-inspections, follow-up visits, and ongoing compliance strategies

• Proven experience delivering Type 1-3 FRAs in residential and/or commercial environments
• Recognised FRA qualifications, such as: NEBOSH Fire Safety / Risk Management and Level 3/4 Certificate in FRA
• Experience writing professional technical reports
