Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to deliver Type 1–3 FRAs across a varied portfolio. You will produce precise FRA reports, advise on remedial works and ensure legislative compliance.

The role requires proven FRA experience, NEBOSH FRA qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. A permanent position with company car/allowance, healthcare, and ongoing professional support is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Type 1–3 FRAs in appropriate settings.
• Experience writing professional technical FRA reports.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 FRA across domestic, commercial, and care home properties.
• Produce clear, compliant FRA reports with prioritized action plans.
• Advise clients on remedial works and safety improvements.
• Liaise with clients, housing providers and facilities teams for compliance.
• Manage your diary and travel across the Midlands region.
• Support re-inspections and ongoing compliance strategies.

Job description

Take on a permanent role where you can enjoy a company car or car allowance, fuel card, healthcare, additional annual leave, and support toward further qualifications. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you'll be delivering high-quality, compliant assessments across the Hampshire area.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked in fire as an Assessor, Safety Consultant, Safety Surveyor, FRA Consultant, or in similar roles within the protection and building safety industry.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be:

• Conducting Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Risk Assessments across a varied property portfolio such as domestic, commercial and care homes
• Producing clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports with prioritised action plans
• Advising clients on remedial works and safety improvements
• Liaising with clients, housing providers, and facilities teams to ensure legislative compliance
• Managing your own diary and travel across the Midlands region
• Supporting re-inspections, follow-up visits, and ongoing compliance strategies

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Proven experience delivering Type 1–3 FRAs in residential and/or commercial environments
• Recognised FRA qualifications, such as: NEBOSH Fire Safety / Risk Management and Level 3/4 Certificate in FRA
• Experience writing professional technical reports
• Full UK driving licence
