Our services include Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping, and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works across multi-occupancy housing, public buildings, healthcare facilities, education establishments, student accommodation, and security-sensitive workplaces.

FRA Technical Manager

Location - UK Wide (Home based with travel)

Neo Property Solutions & PTSG Fire Protection Division are expanding, and with a newly established FRA department, we seek an experienced FRA professional with management capabilities to join us as an FRA Technical Manager. You will support the development of this department and assist the General Manager.

Role Overview

As an FRA Technical Manager, you will ensure fire risk assessments are delivered effectively, meeting customer expectations and maintaining technical compliance across residential and commercial properties. You will collaborate with assessors and stakeholders to uphold high fire safety standards in various environments including commercial, educational, healthcare, and social housing sectors.

As this is a new department, your role will be crucial in its success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain FRA templates (FRA E&W, FRA Scotland, Housing, Pre-Occupancy reports)
• Build the accreditation matrix, ensuring assessors hold necessary certificates
• Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across sites, ensuring legislative compliance
• Lead field assessments and monitor team performance and customer service
• Mentor fire safety professionals to ensure high standards
• Keep updated with fire safety legislation and best practices

Skills and Qualifications

• IFE or IFSM certification - Essential
• Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment or relevant qualification (advantageous)
• Experience in fire risk assessment and safety management in occupied premises
• Knowledge of SP205 requirements
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Salary up to £50k
