Fire Protection Engineer (Lead)

Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists. With our Head Office located in Surrey, we service prestigious buildings and landmarks such as high‑end hotels, stadia and education establishments around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Fire Protection Engineer covering in/around the M25.

Responsibilities
  • Install, commission and maintain fire alarm systems for long‑standing prestigious contracts.
  • Work closely with the Contract Manager, Senior Engineer, Service Coordinators and Customer Service Manager as part of a dedicated key account support team.
  • Mentor and actively mentor Trainee Engineers within the team.
  • Produce professional, high‑workmanship workmanship and meet client expectations in a direct end‑user relationship environment.
  • Support, resources and training are provided to achieve expert status with our primary systems (Advanced, Notifier, Morley, Gent).
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer and extensive experience with a range of products and manufacturers.
  • Electrically competent; able to carry out safe isolations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Desire to install and maintain systems to the highest standards.
  • Customer orientated with the ability to adapt and respond to clients in different situations.
  • Good attention to detail and prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Passion to continue learning and developing skills.
