Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Fire Protection Construction Manager to oversee fire protection and life safety installations on a major construction project in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on on-site management of sprinklers, hydrants and fire pumps, with responsibility for quality, testing and commissioning.

You will supervise contractors and site teams, ensure compliance with codes and designs, and coordinate stakeholders to deliver a technically challenging fire protection

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing fire protection systems within a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing fire protection installation activities on site.
• Supervising installations involving sprinkler systems, hydrants and fire pumps.
• Overseeing life safety installations and ensuring they are installed correctly.
• Managing and coordinating contractors and site teams.
• Supporting and overseeing testing and commissioning activities.
• Carrying out detailed field inspections to verify installation quality.
• Identifying defects and non-conformances and ensuring they are rectified.
• Ensuring installations comply with relevant codes and project requirements.
• Reviewing installation works and documentation for compliance.
• Collaborating with contractors, engineers and stakeholders for delivery.
