Job summary
Together Housing Group is seeking a skilled Fire Joinery Technician to support the People and Property Safety team across the Yorkshire & Humber region. You will install fire doors and fire-stopping, carry out joinery repairs in occupied and vacant homes, and ensure high safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will plan workloads, maintain records, and support trainees, in a role that combines skilled joinery with safety
Qualifications
- Experience in all aspects of joinery repairs within repairs and maintenance.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience maximise jobs completed within one visit.
- Experience installing fire-rated joinery products.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety within repair and maintenance environments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery repairs across occupied and vacant properties.
- Install fire doors and fire-stopping to protect fire compartmentation.
- Plan and organise workload safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer care and protect tenants’ homes.
- Maintain accurate records and complete job sheets daily.
- Manage van stock and procure materials in line with framework agreements.
- Uphold equality, diversity and customer service standards.
- Support trainees and collaborate with the wider team.
