Job summary

SECOM Plc, part of the global SECOM Group, is seeking a Fire Installation Engineer to install a range of fire and life safety systems across Avon and Bristol, UK. You will work to design specifications, read drawings, complete digital documentation, order parts and provide updates to project teams while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has proven installation experience on wireless, conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, a full UK driving

The role
Responsible for the installation of a range of fire and life safety systems including aspirating, PAVA, disabled refuge systems. You’ll ensure all systems are installed to design specifications and in line with client expectations, delivering high standards of workmanship, compliance, and safety.

Include installing systems to meet technical specifications, reading and interpreting plans and drawings, completing all digital documentation, ordering parts, collecting equipment, and providing site updates to project teams. You'll liaise closely with internal departments and clients, work to strict deadlines, and ensure a smooth transition during project handovers.

The ideal candidate
Includes proven installation experience across fire and life safety systems, ideally with knowledge of wireless, conventional & addressable fire alarm systems and compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential. You should be confident reading technical drawings, digitally literate, customer-focused, and experienced in working to deadlines and compliance standards.
