Job summary

SECOM Plc, a global leader in security solutions, seeks a Field Engineer to maintain fire alarm and life safety systems across planned and reactive works. You will use SECOM’s digital platform to manage workflows, upload documentation, plan routes with NSB, and support new contracts.

You must have a background in fire and life safety systems and hold a full UK driving licence; be customer-focused, adaptable, and proficient with digital tools and reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Background in fire and life safety systems, including signalling, wireless, conventional and addressable fire alarm systems and compliance.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Customer-focused, adaptable and confident using digital tools and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend planned maintenance and reactive visits, using SECOM’s digital platform to manage workflows.
• Upload documentation and plan routes with NSB, order parts and log into client portals.
• Update service teams and conduct vehicle and ladder checks.
• Manage van stock and support mobilisation of new contracts.
