Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in London, Liverpool or Manchester is seeking a Fire Engineer to join our design team. You will work across a varied portfolio including Formula 1 facilities, heritage museums, university frameworks and historic residential buildings.

From day one you will contribute to fire strategies that go beyond compliance, collaborating with architects and clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions that integrate with wider project delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in fire engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Develop fire strategies and perform analyses.
• Experience in consultancy environment is preferred.
• Willingness to develop toward professional registration (IFE).

Responsibilities

• Support the development of fire strategies across projects.
• Undertake fire engineering analysis, calculations and reporting.
• Collaborate with architects, design teams and clients to influence design decisions.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
• Support delivery of projects to programme and budget.
• Understand how fire engineering integrates with wider project delivery.
