Qualifikationen

• Approximately 2–3 years estimating experience in the passive fire protection industry.
• Good understanding of fire doors and passive fire protection.
• Able to read drawings, surveys and specifications and produce accurate take-offs.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Aufgaben

• Prepare estimates and tender submissions for fire door works.
• Take accurate off takes from drawings, surveys and specifications.
• Calculate costs for labour, materials, plant and preliminaries.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and project requirements.
• Identify gaps or discrepancies in tender information and resolve queries before submission.
• Review specifications to ensure estimates reflect the scope of works.
• Collaborate with the wider team to complete tenders accurately and meet deadlines.
• Hand over successful tenders to Contracts Team with clear pricing breakdown.
