Job summary

Adaston is a leading passive fire protection specialist currently expanding our Joinery Division and seeking skilled Fire Door Joiners to support installation and remediation across a wide range of projects nationwide in the UK.

You will work in varied environments including residential buildings, healthcare facilities, education settings and other occupied premises, ensuring fire doors are installed, maintained and remediated to high safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Joinery and Fire Door installation/remediation.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and remediate fire door sets in line with standards and manufacturer specs.
• Carry out fire door maintenance and remedial works to existing installations.
• Ensure all works comply with fire safety regulations and company quality standards.
• Accurately complete site documentation and report progress to supervisors or site management.
• Work safely and responsibly in occupied and sensitive environments.
• Identify and report issues affecting fire door compliance or project progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area at all times.
• Represent the company professionally on client sites.

Following a period of sustained growth, we are expanding our Joinery Division and are looking for skilled Fire Door Joiners to support the installation and remediation of fire doors on a wide range of projects.

This role involves working in varied environments such as residential buildings, healthcare facilities, education settings, and other occupied premises. You will play a key part in ensuring fire doors are installed, maintained, and remediated to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and remediate fire door sets in line with relevant standards and manufacturer specifications
• Carry out fire door maintenance and remedial works to existing installations
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with fire safety regulations and company quality standards

About You:

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Professional and proactive communicator when dealing with clients, site teams, and management
