Job summary

Invictus Group in Manchester are recruiting experienced Fire Door Installers/Joiners for a long-term contract in the NorthWest. You will install fire door sets, frames and hardware, ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards.

The role requires at least 3 years of fire door experience, a Blue CSCS card, and the ability to work to high workmanship and safety standards. Candidates should have own joinery tools (110V) and can work independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing and repairing fire doors.
• Blue CSCS Card (minimum).
• Knowledge of current fire door regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Installing complete fire door sets, frames and ironmongery.
• Carrying out remedial works including replacing seals, hinges, locks, closers and other fire door components.
• Making adjustments to ensure doors comply with fire safety regulations.
• Working from drawings, schedules and inspection reports.
• Recording completed work and photographic evidence using a smartphone or tablet.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and following all site health & safety procedures.

Fire Door Installer / Fire Door Joiner

We are currently recruiting experienced Fire Door Installers / Fire Door Joiners for a mixed portfolio contract working in the NorthWest Region

This is a long-term contract with work expected to last up to 6 months. There will be a short planned break during the project before works resume, offering an excellent opportunity for installers looking for consistent work.

The Role

You will be carrying out a mixture of new fire door installations and fire door remedial works, ensuring all doors meet current fire safety standards and project specifications.

• Installing complete fire door sets, frames and ironmongery.
• Carrying out remedial works including replacing seals, hinges, locks, closers and other fire door components.
• Making adjustments to ensure doors comply with fire safety regulations.
• Working from drawings, schedules and inspection reports.
• Recording completed work and photographic evidence using a smartphone or tablet.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and following all site health & safety procedures.

Requirements

• Blue CSCS Card (minimum).
• At least 3 years' experience installing and repairing fire doors.
• Good knowledge of current fire door regulations and compliance standards.
• Your own professional joinery tools (including battery/110v tools).
• Ability to work independently and produce work to a high standard.
• A professional attitude and good communication skills.

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

• Asbestos Awareness.
• First Aid.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Fire door manufacturer training or additional fire safety qualifications.
