CIG SW Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Fire Door Contracts & Compliance Manager to lead and develop our fire-door operation across Bristol and the South West. You will oversee BM TRADA compliance, contracts management, client liaison, procurement, documentation, installer training and commercial performance.

Experience in BM TRADA Q-Mark preferred; strong Contracts Manager with practical carpentry and fire-door installation is welcome. A full UK driving licence and regional travel are required.

Qualifications

• Practical carpentry and fire-door installation experience.
• Experience managing construction projects, contracts or site teams.
• Good understanding of fire-door compliance.
• Strong organisational, administrative and client-facing skills.
• Commercial awareness with procurement and pricing.
• Confidence using digital compliance and project-management software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage BM TRADA Q-Mark compliance, records and audits.
• Manage fire-door projects from enquiry through to completion.
• Provide clients with clear options, recommendations and solutions.
• Programme works and coordinate installers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Order doors, ironmongery and associated materials.
• Maintain accurate surveys, installation records, certification and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance software is used correctly across all projects.
• Train and support carpenters in compliant installation and recording procedures.
• Carry out quality inspections and site audits.
• Prepare quotations and manage costs, variations and project performance.
• Identify risks early and report clearly to clients and directors.

This is a key role covering BM TRADA compliance, contracts management, client liaison, procurement, documentation, installer training and commercial performance.

Previous BM TRADA Q-Mark experience is preferred but not essential. We will consider a strong Contracts Manager with practical carpentry and fire-door installation experience who can undertake further specialist training.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide clients with clear options, recommendations and solutions.
