Job summary

Firetech UK Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead a portfolio of fire door projects across Greater Manchester and the North West, with some UK-wide travel. The role is office-based at Salford Quays with site visits.

You'll oversee delivery, client relationships, planning of labour and materials, inspections, reporting, QA and compliance, driving margin and programme success.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in fire doors (inspection, installation, maintenance and remedial works).
• Track record of running multiple live projects, programmes, labour and subcontractors.
• Commercial mindset with ability to deliver to budget.
• Familiarity with fire door standards and third-party certification (BM TRADA Q-Mark / FIRAS).
• Confident communicator and team player with a can-do attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Location: Salford Quays, Manchester (office-based with site travel)

Salary: Competitive, plus annual bonus and company vehicle/car allowance

About the role

Firetech UK Ltd is a specialist fire protection contractor, established in 1994. We're growing our Fire Doors division and hiring a Contracts Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of fire door projects, covering inspection, installation, maintenance and remedial works. Mostly Greater Manchester and the North West, with some UK-wide travel.

You'll have the full backing of our commercial, estimating and finance functions, and as the division scales there's a clear opportunity to grow with it.

What you'll do

• Lead delivery of fire door projects, from individual remedial programmes through to larger installation and inspection contracts.
• Own client relationships and represent Firetech on site and in meetings.
• Plan and manage labour and materials to deliver on programme and on margin.
• Oversee surveys and inspections, with accurate reporting issued on time.
• Drive QA, third-party certification and Golden Thread compliance.

What we're looking for
