Job summary

InVision Group is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a growing passive fire protection contractor. You will install, repair and maintain fire doors across commercial and residential projects with a focus on quality workmanship.

A company vehicle, fuel card and development opportunities support long-term stability. The role covers work across the North, including Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire door installation and repairs.
• Longevity with current or recent employer.
• Good understanding of fire door compliance and installation standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Installing new fire doors, frames and associated ironmongery.
• Carrying out fire door repairs, remedial works and adjustments.
• Replacing hinges, closers, seals, locks and other components.
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant fire safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Completing accurate job reports and photographic evidence.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
