Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join its expanding construction and maintenance team delivering works across a large hospitality portfolio.

You will have hands-on experience in fire door installation, maintenance, inspection, and remedial works, ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation and industry standards. The role involves client liaison, documentation, and contributing to project records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent.
• Proven experience in carpentry and maintenance works.
• Experience working on fire doors, including inspections and remedial works.
• Good knowledge of fire door legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.

The Role

• Inspecting fire doors and ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards.

About You

To be considered, you should have:
