Job summary

InVision Group is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join our growing passive fire protection team across London. You will install, repair and maintain fire doors on commercial and residential projects, delivering high-quality workmanship with reliability and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have proven fire door installation/repair experience, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire door installation and repairs.
• Longevity with current / recent employer.
• Relevant carpentry or joinery qualifications preferred.
• Good understanding of fire door compliance and installation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Installing new fire doors, frames and associated ironmongery.
• Carrying out fire door repairs, remedial works and adjustments.
• Replacing hinges, closers, seals, locks and other components.
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant fire safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Completing accurate job reports and photographic evidence.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
