InVision Group is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a Midlands-wide passive fire protection contractor. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining fire doors across commercial and residential projects, delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role requires proven fire door experience, a keen eye for safety and compliance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A full UK driving licence and long-term commitment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install new fire doors, frames and ironmongery.
• Repair and remedial works on fire doors.

• Complete accurate job reports with photographic evidence.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing new fire doors, frames and associated ironmongery.
• Carrying out fire door repairs, remedial works and adjustments.
• Replacing hinges, closers, seals, locks and other components.
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant fire safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Completing accurate job reports and photographic evidence.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

• Relevant carpentry or joinery qualifications preferred.
