Job summary

Regional Recruitment are seeking a Lead Fire Damper Engineer for a field-based role across the UK. The position is permanent, full-time with a salary around £35K. The role includes testing, maintenance and installation of fire and smoke dampers to industry standards.

Essential: 1 year related experience, a full UK driving license, and ability to work in a team with flexible hours. Health shield plan and career progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Fire Damper testing or similar roles

• Full, valid UK Driving License

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and remedial duties for various clients across the UK
• Be the lead engineer on site and take responsibility for the project
• Manage and develop knowledge of the team to grow Fire Damper operatives to engineers
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Ensure reporting is timely and accurate for daily service and client reports

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Lead Fire Damper Engineer to join a specialist cleaning and ventilation company. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, ensuring the testing, maintenance and installation of fire and smoke dampers are carried out to the highest possible standards.

Qualifications

Essential:

• At least 1 year experience in Fire Damper testing or similar roles


• Ability to work in a team


• Flexibility with working hours as certain roles require early afternoon/ late evening starts


• Full, valid UK Driving License

Desirable:

• Experience working at height and in confined spaces

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance and remedial duties for various clients across the UK


• Responsible for carrying out/ adhering to Just Good Hygiene policies & procedures and working to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specifications


• Be the lead engineer on site, taking responsibility for the project


• Manage and develop knowledge of the team to grow Fire Damper operatives to engineers


• Adhere to safety guidelines

Requirements

As a Lift Service Engineer, you will also be expected to:

• Ensure all reporting is timely and accurately covering daily service reports, non-conformity reporting, the client final system report and weekly timesheets
