Job summary

Future Select are recruiting for an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to service a range of commercial, industrial and public sector contracts across the North of England.

The role involves logging and testing fire dampers, installing access panels, and producing service reports while travelling to client sites. A NVQ Level 5 and BS9999 knowledge are preferred, with opportunities for training and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
• NVQ Level 5 in Smoke and Fire Dampers
• Excellent industry technical knowledge, including BS9999 guidelines
• Able to travel and work flexible shifts as needed
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and logging fire dampers
• Testing fire dampers to ensure functionality and compliance
• Installing access panels
• Highlighting any required repairs
• Replacing TEK screws, links, collars and ribbons
• Producing regular service reports
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical queries
• Working to agreed deadlines
