Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to join the West Midlands team. You will test and inspect fire dampers on commercial and residential sites, complete reports, and support remedial work with a focus on safety and compliance.

Role requires previous damper-related experience, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility for day or twilight shifts. A company vehicle and fuel card are offered, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire damper testing and inspection.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire dampers across sites.
• Carry out routine damper inspections per regulations.
• Identify defects and carry out remedial works.
• Prepare accurate service reports and records.
• Work across client sites in West Midlands and surrounds.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Occasionally work day and twilight shifts as needed.
