Complete Security Recruitment Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced fire and security technician to help oversee the smooth running of the North West service area and deliver first-class support to customers.

You will work with engineers, communicate issues promptly to supervision, manage revisits and vehicle stock, and comply with health and safety policies. A full, clean driving licence and willingness to join a 24-hour rota are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in fire and security.
• Experience maintaining and fault-finding across systems.
• Knowledge of Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, C-TEC and others.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to join a 24-hour rota.
• Able to pass BS 7858, DBS and police checks.

• Communicate outstanding issues promptly to the line manager or supervisor.
• Manage revisits effectively and help keep them to a minimum.
• Oversee vehicle stock control and ensure job sheets and audit paperwork are completed accurately.
• Follow company health and safety policies and represent the company professionally.

Experience and skills

• At least 5 years' experience in the fire and security industry, ideally with an NSI Gold accredited company.
• Strong knowledge of servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across a range of fire and security systems, including remote monitoring.
• Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, C-TEC, Advanced, Morley, Hikvision and Galaxy.
• Able to work independently, make sound decisions under pressure and support colleagues as part of a team.
• Good communication, organisation and planning skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to join a 24-hour call-out rota.
• Able to meet the required security screening checks, including BS 7858, DBS and police checks.

Package

• Basic salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
• Door-to-door travel pay.
• Overtime and a 1-in-6 call-out rota, offering additional earning potential.
• 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service up to 25 days; negotiable.
