We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Honeywell. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on customer sites. You will also identify and act on any potential small works sales opportunities, as well as collaborate with the wider team to commission small projects and new systems. This is a field-based position, covering our clients in the Southwest and South Wales regions.

Key responsibilities
• Attending customer sites to install or repair fire detection and response systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire detection and response systems, both remotely and on-site
• Provide technical expertise and support for fire protection solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
Key skills and qualifications
• Previous experience of commissioning and servicing of fire systems preferably GENT systems
• Understanding of, and/or previously certified training in, BS5839 maintenance, installation, and design
• Ability to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunities
• Good communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
