Job summary

M PRO Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Fire & Security technician to service and maintain Fire, CCTV, Access Control and IRS systems across domestic and commercial properties. You will work independently, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with British Standards.

The role covers reactive callouts, preventive maintenance and minor remedial works, with good progression opportunities within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Fire & Security service and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and system compliance.
• Experience carrying out preventive maintenance.
• Clear DBS/screening eligibility.

The Role

You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, reactive callouts and minor remedial works across domestic and commercial properties. The role covers integrated Fire, Security, CCTV, Access Control and IRS systems, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault‑find Fire & Security systems
• Carry out small works and repairs on site
• Complete asset logs and job documentation accurately
• Manage daily workload and communicate with the office
• Deal with clients face‑to‑face in a professional manner
• Ensure all works comply with current British Standards

Systems Exposure

Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, IRS, Integrated Security Systems (Entrotec experience or Fire Alarm knowledge highly advantageous).

Requirements

• Proven experience in Fire & Security service and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and system compliance
• Experience carrying out preventive maintenance
• Excellent customer‑facing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple jobs independently
• Experience within construction and Fire & Security environments
• Clear DBS/screening eligibility

• Salary £35k-£40k depending on experience
