Job summary

Lincoln Security is recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to install, service and maintain security and fire systems across domestic and commercial sites.

You will work independently, uphold high standards and represent the company professionally on site, with responsibilities including fault finding, planned maintenance and customer communication. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years+ experience in fire and security engineering preferred.
• Experience with intruder alarms, CCTV and fire alarm systems.
• Installing, servicing and maintaining systems across sites.
• Grade 2/3 intruder alarm systems experience.
• ARC monitoring knowledge.
• BS EN 50131 and PD6662 standards familiarity.
• Analogue and IP CCTV systems experience.
• Non-domestic fire alarm systems experience.
• Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems experience.
• BS 5839-1 standard knowledge.
• Fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work at height safely.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Install, commission, service and maintain CCTV, intruder, fire alarm and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Carry out planned maintenance visits.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team.
• participate in an out of hours rota when required.

Lincoln Security is recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer due to continued growth.

This role is suited to a capable engineer with solid industry experience. It is not a trainee role. You will install, service and maintain security and fire systems across domestic and commercial sites.

You will work independently, maintain high standards and represent the company professionally while on site.

Your experience

3 years plus (preferred)

We are looking for experience with:

Intruder alarms, CCTV and fire alarm systems

Installing, servicing and maintaining systems

Grade 2 and Grade 3 intruder alarm systems

ARC monitoring

BS EN 50131 and PD6662

Analogue and IP CCTV systems

Non-domestic fire alarm systems

Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems

BS 5839 1

Fault finding and problem solving

Working at height using safe working practices

A full UK driving licence is required.
