Job summary

4way Recruitment is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to cover a Slough-based role across the M4 Corridor, with a salary up to £45,000 and OTE £53,000+. You will service and install Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control, while complying with current British Standards.

A full UK driving licence and eligibility for enhanced security screening are required. German language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience installing and servicing electronic security systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Eligible for enhanced security screening.
• German language skills are a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment.
• Perform installation of fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV equipment.
• Complete all work in accordance with current legislation and relevant British Standards.
• Respond to and manage customer requests in a professional and timely manner.

Fire and Security Engineer, Security Biased, Door to Door Travel & No Call Out Rota

Location of works: Slough - to cover the M4 Corridor

Salary Bracket: Up to £45,000

On target earnings (OTE): £53,000+

Salary and Benefits

• Basic Salary: Up to £45,000
• Travel Time Paid: Door to Door
• Overtime: 1.5 Weekdays and Double Time on Saturdays and Sundays
• Annual Leave: 20 Days + Bank Holidays + 1 Day for Birthday
• Company Vehicle: Van or Car with Personal Use

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
• Experience working with Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control
• Ability to work independently
• Strong fault-finding and system servicing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred)
• Must be eligible for enhanced security screening
• Fluent in German (Preference but not essential)
