Job summary

ProGroup Recruitment seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of fire alarm systems across occupied residential properties in the Northwest and Yorkshire. The role offers a clear progression path into senior and commissioning roles within a growing fire safety business.

You will be responsible for routine servicing, fault-finding, small works, and accurate reporting, with a strong emphasis on customer service and site safety within

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with conventional and addressable systems.
• Knowledge of Honeywell, Apollo, Kentec and Gent is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs.
• Carrying out small works, including like-for-like replacement of fire alarm components.
• Completing service documentation and reports.
• Providing a professional service when working within occupied residential buildings.
