Job summary

MJ Health Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to install, service and maintain fire alarm systems across various sites in the North West. You will diagnose faults, complete accurate reports and liaise with clients and site managers while ensuring health and safety compliance.

The role requires knowledge of BS 5839, FIA qualifications preferred, and a valid UK driving license. A company vehicle and tools are provided, with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (installation and servicing).
• Good knowledge of fire alarm regulations and BS 5839.
• Full UK driving licence; ECS/CSCS card preferred.
• Ability to diagnose faults and document reports.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire alarm systems to BS 5839 standards.
• Service and maintain existing fire alarm systems and diagnose faults.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, site managers and other engineers; ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in an on-call rota and manage tools and company vehicle.
