Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing compliance and safety specialist in Watford. You will service Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Lighting, perform maintenance, fault-finding and reactive repairs across various sites, with specialist training for AOV systems.

This field-based role covers Hemel Hempstead, Uxbridge, and Oxford clusters. A UK driving licence is required, and the company offers a competitive salary, company van, mobile phone and 22 days

Qualifications

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm systems.
• Experience with Emergency Lighting.
• Knowledge of BS 5839 (British Standards).
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to learn and receive specialist training on AOV systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and reactive repairs.

• Manage your own day efficiently as a field-based engineer.

Fire Alarm Service Engineer Overview:

Fire Alarm Service Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

Due to rapid growth, our client is looking for great engineers to join the team. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault-finding, and reactive repairs.
• Working across Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and AOV systems.
• Managing your own day efficiently as a field-based engineer.
• Providing excellent customer service across commercial, residential and industrial sites.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in the servicing and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Lighting.
• Knowledge of British Standards (BS 5839).
• A willingness to learn—full specialist training on complex AOV systems will be provided.
• A valid UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally based around the Watford area, though anyone perfectly placed to cover the Watford/Hemel/Uxbridge/Oxford cluster will be highly considered.
