Job summary

GET Staff is recruiting a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to cover Watford and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting, and AOVs, with full specialist training provided on complex AOV systems.

This field-based position requires a proactive engineer who can manage daily tasks efficiently and deliver excellent service across commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Lighting.
• Knowledge of British Standards (BS 5839).
• Willingness to learn—full specialist training on complex AOV systems will be provided.
• A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault-finding, and reactive repairs.
• Working across Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and AOV systems.
• Managing your own day efficiently as a field-based engineer.
• Providing excellent customer service across commercial, residential and industrial sites.

Fire Alarm Service Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

Due to rapid growth, our client is looking for great engineers to join the team. Your day-to-day will involve:

What We’re Looking For
