Job summary

Secure & Recruit Ltd is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to service, fault-find and repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and AOV across sites in Hampshire. The role includes joining a 1-in-5 week rota for call-outs, with a base salary up to £43,000 plus bonuses.

Travel is paid after the first 30 minutes each way, and a company van is provided with personal use. 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, with an option to buy 5 extra days.

Qualifications

• Experience in service, fault-finding and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Ability to identify and complete remedial works.
• Willingness to work across Hampshire sites and participate in a 1 in 5 week on-call rota.

Salary: Up to £43,000 basic

Package details

• Engineers typically earn an additional £7,000-£9,000 per year in bonus
• Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way
• £175 weekly standby payment
• Call-outs paid door-to-door at 1.5x
• 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
• Option to purchase an additional 5 days' annual leave
• Remedial works bonus of 2%-3.5%, based on invoice value
