Job summary

4way Recruitment is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer in Enfield and surrounding areas. You'll service and maintain addressable and conventional fire alarm systems and emergency lighting for domestic and social housing sectors. The role requires minimum 3 years' experience and a clean UK driving license.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Good understanding of BS5839‑1 fire alarm standards.
• Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).

Job description

Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: Enfield and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus competitive on‑target earnings, overtime, and call‑out incentives.

Benefits

• Full‑time overtime available – pay time and a half
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Stand‑by payment: £140 per week
• Call‑out payment: £60 per job
• Call‑out rest period: 11 hours when on call

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Experience working within the social housing sector preferred
• FIA training/qualifications desirable but not essential
• Good understanding of BS5839‑1 fire alarm standards
• Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred)
