Job summary

4way Recruitment is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer in Nottingham to service and maintain addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, plus emergency lighting and extinguishers. You will work in the domestic and social housing sectors, with a company vehicle and overtime opportunities.

The role requires at least 3 years' hands-on experience, and a clean UK driving licence. FIA training is desirable but not essential; BS5839-1 standards knowledge is important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience servicing and maintaining both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Experience in the social housing sector preferred.
• FIA training/qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Good understanding of BS5839-1 fire alarm standards.
• Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred).

Fire Alarm Service Engineer, Company Vehicle & Overtime Available

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Up to £45,000

On Target Earnings (OTE): Competitive + Overtime + Call Out

Industry: Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Fire Extinguishers

Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £45,000
• Ongoing Overtime (Time and a Half)
• Travel Time Paid after 30 minutes each way
• Annual leave: 22 days + Bank Holidays

• Call out: 11 hours rest when on call
• Standby payment £140 per week
• Call out payment £60 per job
