Job summary

Get Staff is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Life Safety Engineer to join our Leeds team on a permanent basis. You will install, service and commission fire alarm and life safety systems across commercial and industrial sites, including VESDA, with fault-finding and on-site support.

The role offers a salary range of £35,000–£42,000 per year, plus a company vehicle and ongoing training. A professional attitude and strong customer-facing communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Fire Engineer qualification with proven commissioning experience.
• Experience with advanced fire alarm systems and VESDA.
• Full UK driving licence and strong fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, fault-find and commission fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Work on advanced and addressable systems across multiple manufacturers, including VESDA.
• Carry out inspections, testing and remedial works to industry standards.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service and document reports, including out-of-hours support when required.
